These are older versions of the Backlight driver. Please use Version 2.0 or later, if possible!
This driver lets you switch a backlight via hotkey. The backlight control line must be connected to a specific I/O pin of the palmtop's CPU. v1.1 is slightly modified by John to support specific EL panels (automatic screen inversion. for example).

This driver lets you switch a backlight via hotkey. The backlight control line must be connected to a specific I/O pin of the palmtop's CPU. New version 2.1 introduces a new battery saving mechanism. Please read the HP 200LX backlight homepage for details.
