4DOS is a COMMAND.COM replacement (also runs on top of command.com on the HPLX), bringing many of the latest command line extensions found in current DOS versions (and even Windows NT) to those, who are bound to a particular DOS version such as the outdated MS-ROMDOS 5.0 built into the pallmtops. The main difference between the unregistered version and the registered version of Apcalc is that the registered version does not have the Use Count. BASIC SPECIFICATIONS This programmer's calculator operates in decimal mode, hexadecimal mode, octal, binary, floating point, and in ASCII. Cliplay is a playback program for sound data, to be used in combination with the Database, with the same style as MAPPOT does for graphic data. It directly plays sound data copied to the clipboard, or indirectly from a file specified in the clipboard. Originally part of the software collection sold with the "HP200LX Software Bible" co-authored by Hiroyuki Sekiya and Hirotaka Hamada, published by Softbank, Tokyo, in April 1996 (ISBN4-89052-911-X). Now released as copyrighted freeware.

The purpose of CUTZIT is to cut up any file into smaller pieces. CUTZIT is great for word processor files. It can slice and cut up an ASCII data base, too. CUTZIT can split a large BINARY file (without CR,LF's), like a dBASE III data file. Freeware.
