4DOS is a COMMAND.COM replacement (also runs on top of command.com on the HPLX), bringing many of the latest command line extensions found in current DOS versions (and even Windows NT) to those, who are bound to a particular DOS version such as the outdated MS-ROMDOS 5.0 built into the pallmtops. The main difference between the unregistered version and the registered version of Apcalc is that the registered version does not have the Use Count. BASIC SPECIFICATIONS This programmer's calculator operates in decimal mode, hexadecimal mode, octal, binary, floating point, and in ASCII. It performs basic arithmetic operations- addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and unary negation) as well as some operations useful to programmers (shift left,shift right, AND, OR, XOR, and NOT).
